The Town of Collingwood is undertaking a Downtown Parking Study to better understand how parking is currently being used and how it can be improved.  The study will include a data collection and analysis exercise, a review of local policies, procedures, and practices, and engagement with residents, businesses, and visitors.

In addition to the survey below, the study team will undertake further stakeholder consultation to better understand parking concerns and interests.   Be sure to subscribe to this project page to receive updates.

This Parking Study will:

  • Help ensure there are convenient parking options so residents can easily access shops, restaurants, and services in town.
  • Help us plan ahead so parking works for both residents and the growing number of visitors.
  • Assist us in understanding parking patterns, which helps improve safety for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.
  • Ensure valuable street and land space is used in ways that benefit the whole community.

Community Feedback:

Community input is a key part of the parking study and will help shape future parking policies.  Please fill out the survey below to ensure your feedback is captured in this important Study.
