Background

The concept of a cycle pump track originated from the community, following a deputation to Council in 2023, where the idea received approval. Staff identified Old Village (Legion) Park as an ideal location due to its central position and existing amenities, including a playground, washroom, baseball diamonds, soccer/rugby fields, and open space.

Project Objective

The Old Village (Legion) Park revitalization aims to enhance recreation, promote active living, and create an inclusive community space. With new pump tracks, upgraded facilities, and improved infrastructure, the project supports riders of all levels while encouraging outdoor activity.
