Project Timeline and Important Dates

• Special Meeting of the Museum Advisory Committee – July 25, 2025

  The Museum Advisory Committee Special Meeting is now scheduled for July 25, 2025 (previously listed as TBD for June/July 2025).

• May is Museum Month Community Open Houses

  Throughout the month of May, visit the Collingwood Museum to participate in community open houses that will offer behind-the-scenes tours of storage. Bring your questions and ideas for engaging conversations!

• Public Engagement Opportunity: Collingwood Farmers’ Market – Saturday, May 17

  Collingwood Museum Staff and Advisory Committee Members will be located in the Town of Collingwood’s booth in the Pine Street Parking between 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Bring your questions and provide survey feedback for a chance to win a Collingwood Terminals t-shirt. 

• Community Survey Closes on Saturday, May 31

• Special Meeting of the Museum Advisory Committee – June/July 2025 (TBD)

  Committee members and staff will be meeting with Regional Development Advisor Chantale Gagnon to discuss the results of an internal SWOT analysis completed by staff and volunteers. As well, feedback received from public engagement sessions and feedback from survey responses will be reviewed as the committee looks to identify goal statements to guide the Museum over the next five years. 

• Master Plan Draft Presentation to Committee, September 2025 (TBD)

  Museum staff will present the first draft of the Collingwood Museum Master Plan to the Museum Advisory Committee for approval

• Master Plan Presentation to Council, October 2025 (TBD)

  The finalized plan will be presented to Collingwood Council for approval.
