The Town is making changes to its Zoning By-law to encourage gentle density by allowing more housing to be built on existing lots and reducing parking requirements for specific residential uses. The Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment will consider the following:
- Allowing up to four dwelling units per serviced residential property.
- Reducing or eliminating parking requirements for specific dwelling units types.
- Pre-Zoning sites with Places of Worship and Community Services to allow housing.
